After the Exhibition On MONDAY 30 JUNE 2008 after 8.30pm entries can be collected from Sphinx Sports and Social Club, Sphinx Drive, Coventry or one of the collection points by arrangement.
Conditions of Entry
1. All entries must be the Exhibitor's own work. Digital imaging is accepted, provided that all the original pictures are the work of the photographer. Color slides and prints may be trade processed.
2. Prints must be mounted. Max size 20" X 16".
3. All prints and slides must bear a title, name and address of the entrant.
4. All colour slides must be correctly "spotted" for projection purposes and preferably mounted between glass.
5. Digital files must be produced to a maximum pixel dimension of 1400(w) X 1050(h).
6. If submitting a portrait image the longest side must be a maximum of 1050 pixels.
7. All image files should be produced in JPEG and be quality 6 or greater.
8. All images must have a title (short titles please).
9. Digital files must be submitted on a CD or DVD, 1 author per disc.
10. Each CD/DVD must be clearly marked with the author's name and address using a permanent marker pen.
11. All submitted CDs and DVDs will be destroyed after the exhibition and not returned.
12. Every care will be taken of exhibits, but no responsibility can be accepted for loss or damage.
13. Entries received after the closing date will be excluded.
14. The organisers reserve the right to withdraw from public exhibition any entry they consider to be unsuitable.
15. Coventry P.S. assumes the right to reproduce winning entries in the catalogue and for the travelling Exhibition.
16. The same image must not be used in print, slide and digital classes.

Awards
All entries will be submitted to the Judge who will make Premier, Highly Commended and Commended awards at their discretion from the accepted entries. Awards are limited to ONE per print or projected image.
Print Awards
1. Alec Watson BEM Trophy for the best image in the exhibition by a Coventry Photographic Society member.
2. Premier award for each class.Slide Awards
1. Best slide in the exhibition by a Coventry Photographic Society member.
2. Premier award for the best Nature or Record slide in Members Class 5.
3. Premier award for the best projected image in the Open class 10 & 11.
4. Premier award for each class.Digital Awards
1. Trophy for the best image in the exhibition by a Coventry Photographic Society member.
2. Premier award for the Open class.
Humour Award
H.COLLISTER MEMORIAL TROPHY for a print or slide considered to be the most humorous entry. Open to Coventry Photographic Society members ONLY.

Anyone may enter, amateurs,professionals or beginners but entry is restricted to entrants residing within mainland Britain.
